First world nations’ lack of urgency to end malaria in developing countries is a major hurdle for The Gates Foundation. This tool allows journalists and potential activists to watch the migration of the disease from Southeast Asia to Sub-Saharan Africa and South America as antimalarial drugs lose their effectiveness, and then explore the five steps Gates is taking to stop the spread by 2050. This project was an unused concept.
